Agnieszka Martynowicz

Assistant Director. Responsibilities include developing the range of projects undertaken by ICR and deputising for the Director. Her particular areas of interest include human rights and prisons issues.

Jennifer Hamilton

Senior Research Officer, leads the research team and acts as project director on Institute research projects. Her work includes victims issues; young people and electoral politics; minority ethnic issues including migrant workers' experiences and traveller education.

Sylvia Anderson

Finance and Office Manager, with responsibility for managing the Institute’s finances, offices and administration. She has a background in administration in both the private and voluntary sectors.

Jonny Byrne

Research Officer, is currently on an extended leave of absence from ICR while he pursues a Ph.D. at the University of Ulster.  His work includes research on topics such as: policing, bonfires, interfaces, and shared living.

Ulf Hansson

Research Officer, has previously worked on projects researching different minority ethnic groups in the Northern Ireland education system. Other research work includes language politics, young people, violence and housing.

John Bell

Research Assistant working on several projects covering various issues e.g. immigration, parades and segregation. John had previously spent a year with ICR as an intern.

Anne is a research assistant currently working on a migrant workers project.

Christine  is the administrative and information assistant.  She is responsible for the library and website.

Mary-Kathryn Rallings

Mary Katherine joined ICR as an intern in October 2008 and will primarily be working on a project focusing on parades.

Maura joined ICR as an intern  in October 2008 and will be working on a migrant workers project.

Fred is an associate researcher currently working on projects focusing on hate crime and disability issues.

Bisnhu is an associate researcher who is based at the Conflict Study Centre in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Dr. Richard Lotspeich

Dr. Richard Lotspeich is a professor in the department of economics at Indiana State University.  More information about his research interests and contact information can be found here.

Marcel Baumann

Marcel is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg, Germany.  He recently visited Northern Ireland to conduct research focused on restorative justice.  A summary of that project can be found here.   More information about his previous research and his contact details can be found in German here. 

Debidatta Aurobinda Mahapatra

Aurobinda is part of the research faculty in the Centre for Central Eurasian Studies at the University of Mumbai.  His areas of specialization include: Kashmir, terrorism, Chechnya and Indo-Russian relations.
