The
Institute for Conflict Research is an independent not-for-profit
organisation with charitable status. ICR is managed by a Board
of Directors drawn from the statutory, voluntary community and
academic sectors. ICR undertakes work for, and with, a wide range of organisations. Recent projects include work with: Armagh College; Atlantic Philanthropies; Belfast City Council; Belfast Interface Project; Community Relations Council; Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety; East Tyrone College; Eastern Health and Social Services Board; Electoral Commission; Groundwork NI; Groundwork UK; Larne YMCA; Limavady Borough Council; LINC Resource Centre; Mediation Northern Ireland; Nerve Centre; NIACRO; North and West Belfast Health and Social Services Trust; Northern Health and Social Services Board; Northern Ireland Housing Executive; Northern Ireland Policing Board; Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister; PHAB; Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland; Save the Children. The Institute for Conflict Research previously operated under the names of Community Conflict Impact on Children (1999-2001), The Cost of the Troubles Study (1996-99) and Templegrove Action Research (1994-96), and as such conducted a number of significant pieces of research and produced a range of books, reports and other publications.
