Building Capacity in Communities in Transition
Since September 2017, ICR, in partnership with the Mitchell Institute (QUB), INCORE (Ulster University) and Co-operation Ireland, have worked as part of a consortium with The Executive Office (TEO) to develop a project to build capacity in eight geographic areas that have historically been most impacted by paramilitarism, criminality and organised crime, as part of the executive’s Fresh Start Agreement.
Brexit
On August 12th, 2017, ICR worked with Artist, Rita Duffy, on the “Softening the Border” project, in order to promote shared heritage and respect for all communities across Ireland, North and South. People were brought together from all corners of the island in order to artistically “knit” the border together in solidarity.
In addition, ICR’s Brexit and EYou project has contributed crucial research to the ongoing Brexit process.
